Windy Leaf is a small game about a leaf falling on the wind. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what it does and does not do with your information.
The short version
Windy Leaf does not collect anything about you. There is no account, no login, no email, no name, no location, no analytics. The game does not send your game data anywhere — it never leaves your device.
The one exception is advertising. Windy Leaf shows ads through Google AdMob, and AdMob collects your device's advertising ID so it can choose which ads to show and count them. That is Google's collection, described below, and you can switch it off or reset it at any time in your device settings.
What is stored on your device
Your progress — high score, motes, which leaves you have collected, which one you have equipped, your sound settings and free-gift timer — is saved locally on your phone only, in the app's own storage.
We cannot see it. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. Uninstalling Windy Leaf permanently deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, which also means progress cannot be restored or transferred between devices.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. The game itself makes no network requests of any kind and works completely offline apart from loading ads.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Windy Leaf shows two kinds of ad:
- Rewarded ads — entirely optional, and always your choice. You watch one only if you tap a button offering something in return.
- Interstitial ads — occasional full-screen ads between runs. These are removed permanently if you buy Remove Ads.
To serve these, Google AdMob may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID (a resettable identifier, not your name)
- approximate location derived from your IP address (country/region level)
- device information such as model, operating system version and language
- ad interaction data — which ads were shown, viewed or tapped
This data is collected by Google, not by us, and is handled under Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Your controls: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation entirely, in Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device. The game keeps working normally either way — you will simply see less relevant ads.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent screen before any personalised ads are served, and you may refuse or change your choice at any time. Refusing does not restrict the game in any way.
Purchases (Google Play Billing)
If you buy Remove Ads or a mote pack, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details — no card number, no billing address, nothing. Google tells the app only whether a purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought.
Purchase records are held by Google under their policy. Refunds are handled through Google Play.
Children
Windy Leaf is not directed at children under 13, and is rated for ages 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact us and we will act promptly.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your data, because we do not have any. The only data sharing that occurs is Google's own, described above, for advertising and payments.
Security
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted by the game, there is nothing of yours on our side to breach. Your saved progress stays in your device's app storage, protected by your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at this address. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
